I’m feeling a bit stuck today, but it’s Friday and I’m headed out of town, so I’ll keep this short and sweet. Since I’m still loving all-things Olympics, let’s talk about favorite Brazilian dishes and drinks!

Today I’m linking up for the Friday Five with Courtney, Mar, and Cynthia. Make sure you check out their awesome blogs as well as those who join the link up!
I will say that I haven’t tried everything on this list- but there’s always this upcoming week or two! Last weekend there was some Latin American dining in front of the Olympics. (Shhh, don’t tell that I combined Brazilian drinks and bread with Peruvian chicken and sides).

1. Cheesy bread:  It’s super tasty! Apparently the tapioca flour was a big difficult to work with if you’re not used to it. My friend made them in muffin and mini muffin tins. But it was good out of the oven and reheated. http://www.popsugar.com/latina/Brazilian-Cheese-Bread-Pao-de-Queijo-Recipe-37897873

2. Caipirinhas: How can you go wrong with limes, simple syrup and cachaca? You can’t. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/20210/caipirinha/
3. Beans and rice: Pretty common across Latin America, it’s a perfect hearty food. I have a recipe from a friend, but this blogger also posted one. http://authenticbraziliancuisine.blogspot.com/2010/02/rice-and-beans-of-brazilian-food.html
4. Pudim: I am a big fan of flan, and I have been promised that this is even better. I will have to see. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/202261/brazilian-style-flan-pudim-de-leite-condensado/
5. Brigadeiros: A candy made from sweetened condensed milk. How can you not love homemade candy? http://allrecipes.com/recipe/24052/brigadeiro/
Cheers and have a great weekend! Enjoy the start of the running events in Rio!
