Have you heard about November Project? It’s a free fitness movement that’s across the US and several other countries, including Canada and Iceland! You should read more about it if you’re not familiar on their homepage– it’s ok, I’ll wait right here.
Back? Sounds fun, right? Different places around your city (and 25 others), different workouts every week. All ability levels welcome- just show up!
I will admit that I’m not regular, but there’s something kind of crazy fun about meeting a bunch of random people at 5:30 or 6:30am to run and do bodyweight exercises. I do Mondays on holidays and sometimes the early Wednesday group (because regularly getting up at 4:30am on a Wednesday is hard y’all). Everyone is cheerful, encouraging, and somehow you just leave smiling.
So a shout-out to the DC Tribe, and go find out if there’s a November Project if your city. You’ll some new friends, see a new side to the city, have hills for breakfast, and be done with your exercising before your friends are even awake.
